The concept

Own a moment they already play through

When an athlete steps into the box, a sponsor's 15–30 second branded audio plays through the stadium PA and gets picked up on the broadcast. It's the one repeatable, named spotlight no other sport has at this volume.

Baseball and softball give you 4 walk-up moments a game across 56 games — 224 chances a season where one athlete is the center of attention. AudioNIL handles recruiting, matching, audio production, compliance, and payment. The athlete just plays.

Claim the walk-up before someone else does

AudioNIL is under 1% of the college NIL market today. Whether you're a brand, an athlete, a school, or an agent — this is the first-mover window.

Platform

What is AudioNIL?

AudioNIL is the first audio-first NIL sponsorship platform for college baseball and softball. When an athlete comes to bat, steps up to pitch, or is introduced, a sponsor's branded audio plays in the stadium. It's passive income from a moment they already own.

The concept

Baseball and softball have roughly 224 walk-up moments per season — about 4 per game across 56 games. Each one is a sponsorship opportunity that no other sport offers at this repeatable volume.

Why audio

  • Memorable: audio drives a 65% recall rate — the industry average for audio sponsorships.
  • Measurable: stadium impressions + broadcast reach + social amplification = clear ROI.
  • Scalable: one athlete can carry multiple non-conflicting brands.
  • Non-invasive: works alongside existing NIL deals and endorsements.

The opportunity

AudioNIL currently represents less than 1% of the college NIL market — a genuine first-mover advantage.

Legitimacy & compliance

The NCAA has permitted Name, Image & Likeness earnings since June 2021, and audio sponsorships sit squarely within those rules — every deal is student-negotiated, requires nothing beyond normal play, and passes a three-layer eligibility check. See Technology & Compliance for the full framework.

Why baseball & softball stand out

No other sport has as many individual, repeated, named moments. Football has 11 players per play; basketball has fast, shared action. Baseball and softball give one athlete 224 distinct spotlights a season — ideal for a repeatable audio sponsorship.

Softball runs the same 56-game, 224-moment structure as baseball. Per AudioNIL's women's-sports data, softball athletes earn $20,000–$65,000 per season — in a market with less sponsor competition and higher authentic brand affinity, with women's-sports engagement up 37% year over year.

How payments work

Earnings hit your account 14 days after the season ends, via direct deposit. You get monthly analytics during the season covering impressions, broadcast reach, and earnings tracking.

Multiple sponsorships

You can run several sponsorships at once as long as brands don't conflict — for example, a baseball apparel brand and a beverage brand on different games. The matching algorithm prevents conflicts.

Athletes

Athlete FAQ

How much can I earn?

It depends on sport, position/status, school, and deals signed. A single sponsored game can be a few hundred dollars, while a full season for a star profile can exceed $125K in sponsor value — and you keep 60% (a $50K deal puts $30K in your pocket). Most athletes are matched within 2–4 weeks.

Can I have multiple sponsors at once?

Yes. You can run non-conflicting brands on different days; the matching algorithm prevents category conflicts.

When do I get paid?

Full-season deals pay 14 days after the season ends; select-game deals 14 days after your final sponsored game. Direct deposit, with monthly analytics throughout.

What do I do besides play?

A one-time 5–10 minute profile and compliance docs. After that, AudioNIL handles recruiting, matching, audio, stadium coordination, and payment. Activation is automated.

What if I get injured mid-season?

Agreements include force-majeure terms: if you become ineligible, sponsors get a full refund and you're paid for completed games. NCAA status is monitored weekly.

Do I need a big social following?

No. AudioNIL isn't limited to social-media stars — earnings are based on your walk-up visibility, not your follower count. Every eligible college athlete can participate.

How is this different from a typical social deal?

Typical college social deals run $100–$5,000. AudioNIL ranges $4K–$250K a season because you're monetizing stadium and broadcast reach, not just a post — and you can stack multiple brands.

How do I actually get started?

Register (name, school, sport, position), pass NCAA verification, sign compliance docs, and build your profile. AudioNIL handles sponsor matching from there. Most athletes are matched within 2–4 weeks. Sign up here.

Can brands see my personal information?

No. Brands see your athletic profile — sport, position, stats, schedule, social following — never your home address, phone, or family details. All personal info is private and shared only with your explicit consent.

What if I'm not sure I'm NIL-eligible?

AudioNIL runs an NCAA eligibility check (usually 1–2 business days) with your athletic department before anything activates. The vast majority of Division I athletes are eligible; if you're not, no sponsorship proceeds.

Agents & advisors

Commission structure

AudioNIL is complementary to traditional endorsements — passive income for your clients that doesn't compete with your agency work.

Traditional endorsement

  • You negotiate brand + athlete
  • Athlete makes paid appearances
  • Takes real time & effort

Typical: $5K–$50K annually

AudioNIL (passive)

  • You just make the introduction
  • No appearances required
  • AudioNIL handles everything

Typical: $4K–$250K annually

Your commission potential

You take 10–15% of AudioNIL earnings.

Example: 5 athletes at $75K average = $375,000 total.

Your 10–15% = $37,500 – $56,250, with AudioNIL doing all matching, compliance, and payment.

The revenue opportunity

Clients earning $0 in NIL today

AudioNIL can unlock $20K–$150K per season with zero additional work — pure upside for the athlete and a new commission line for you.

Clients with existing deals

AudioNIL adds incremental revenue on top of traditional endorsements — never instead of them.

What NOT to do

  • Don't require AudioNIL participation — it's the athlete's choice.
  • Don't negotiate specific sponsorships — that's AudioNIL's job.
  • Don't take commission on AudioNIL earnings without athlete consent.
  • Don't position AudioNIL as your NIL strategy — it's a complement, not a replacement.
  • Don't guarantee earnings — AudioNIL does matching, not guarantees.

Agents & advisors

Agent FAQ

Is this really passive for my clients?

Yes. The walk-up moment is sponsored; no appearances or time commitment. Earnings typically run $4K–$250K annually depending on deals signed.

Does it compete with my endorsement deals?

No — it's complementary and specific to stadium audio moments. Athletes keep coach-brokered deals and your contracts and add AudioNIL on top.

What's my commission?

10–15% of AudioNIL earnings. Represent 5 athletes at $75K average and that's $37.5K–$56.25K — for facilitating introductions.

How much work is it for me?

Minimal. Just the introduction. AudioNIL recruits, matches, produces audio, coordinates stadiums, and distributes payment.

Can multiple agents represent the same athlete?

Yes — relationships are non-exclusive. Just disclose your commission arrangement with your client.

What if my client earns $0 in NIL now?

That's the biggest win — AudioNIL can unlock $20K–$150K a season for an athlete with no current NIL income, with zero extra work on their part or yours.

What's my role, exactly?

Just the introduction. Email partnerships@audionilsports.com, refer your client, and they sign up in about 5 minutes. You don't negotiate or structure deals — you facilitate and earn commission.

How do my clients actually get paid?

AudioNIL invoices the sponsor, collects payment, then distributes the split — 60% athlete, 10% school, 30% platform — via direct deposit within 14 days of activation. Everything's tracked in the athlete's dashboard.

What your athletic department does

Almost nothing. AudioNIL handles recruiting, sponsor matching, audio production, stadium coordination, and payments. Your compliance office verifies eligibility (1–2 hours a year) and your AD approves athletes (~5 minutes each).

Recruiting advantage

"Earn $4K–$150K a season from walk-ups, with zero extra work" is a differentiator on the recruiting trail — especially for programs competing with the biggest budgets.

Works with existing NIL

Complementary to collectives and coach-brokered deals. It's passive income on top of what athletes already have — no conflicts.

The partnership model

  1. Relationship building — an intro conversation about the opportunity, with zero obligation to proceed.
  2. Technical assessment — AudioNIL confirms your stadium audio is compatible (it usually is).
  3. Partnership agreement — revenue share (10%), athlete eligibility, approval process, and liability coverage.
  4. Stadium setup — integration with your audio engineer, ~1–2 hours, tested before the first activation.
  5. Athlete recruitment — AudioNIL registers eligible athletes and pairs them with sponsors.

Technical requirements

No new equipment. AudioNIL integrates with ~95% of existing NCAA stadium audio systems; setup with your audio engineer takes 1–2 hours.

Schools

School FAQ

How much can our school earn?

10% of sponsorship revenue. Ten athletes averaging $60K deals = $60K to the school; programs with 50+ eligible athletes can reach $250K+ — with no athletic-department effort.

What work is required of us?

Compliance verifies eligibility (1–2 hours annually) and the AD approves athletes (~5 minutes each). That's the only touchpoint.

How does it help recruiting & retention?

It's a tangible financial upside recruits can see, and it lifts satisfaction and retention — especially at programs competing with the largest budgets.

Do we need new audio systems?

No — AudioNIL integrates with ~95% of existing NCAA systems, with a 1–2 hour setup alongside your engineer.

Any liability concerns?

AudioNIL carries liability insurance and indemnifies schools; agreements include indemnification clauses and athletes verify their own rights.

Does this affect stadium naming rights?

No. Activations are athlete-specific micro-moments and don't touch stadium-wide naming, general sponsorships, or broadcast rights.

What's required of us to start?

An intro conversation, a partnership agreement, and stadium-audio access you already have. AudioNIL handles athlete recruitment, sponsor management, and compliance; setup with your engineer takes 1–2 hours.

Does this work for softball too?

Yes. Softball uses the same 56-game, 224-moment structure, and women's-sports engagement is up 37% year over year — a growing, lower-competition market for sponsors and revenue for your program.

How is compliance handled on our end?

AudioNIL runs a three-layer check (AudioNIL, your compliance office, and the NCAA database), notifies your AD of each sponsorship with revenue-share documentation, and carries liability insurance that indemnifies the school. A school-specific contract defines revenue share, audio access, and termination.

Platform

Technology & compliance

Five years of engineering behind every walk-up: a proprietary platform integrated with 1,200+ NCAA stadium audio systems, wrapped in a three-layer NCAA compliance process.

The technology, in five layers

1 · Audio management

Cloud asset repository with version control and format normalization to each stadium's specs — 99.99% uptime and role-based access for sponsors, athletes, and staff.

2 · Stadium integration

Real-time integration with QSC, Yamaha, Bosch, and Analog Devices systems — about 95% of NCAA stadiums — with automated activation and manual-override fallback.

3 · Compliance tracking

Continuous monitoring of eligibility, school approvals, and contract/audio-asset compliance, with monthly reports and a full audit trail.

4 · Content library

Auto-generated walk-up clips tagged with athlete and game metadata, with one-click sharing to athlete, brand, and press channels.

5 · Analytics & reporting

Real-time ROI dashboards — impressions, broadcast reach, social engagement, web traffic — plus monthly and custom sponsor reports.

Built to last

5+ years of development across 1,200+ stadiums, 99.9% uptime with redundant systems — an estimated 2–3 years for a competitor to replicate.

Why AudioNIL is NCAA compliant

The NCAA has allowed athletes to earn from Name, Image & Likeness since June 2021, and audio sponsorships fall clearly within those rules:

  • Student-negotiated — athletes, not schools, hold the deal.
  • No quid pro quo — nothing is required beyond normal sport participation.
  • State compliant — aligned with each state's NIL law.
  • No recruiting inducement — sponsorships don't steer athletes to any school.

The verification process

  1. Registration — athlete provides school, sport, and eligibility status.
  2. Eligibility check — enrollment and good standing verified (1–2 days).
  3. Compliance docs — athlete signs terms and confirms NIL rights.
  4. School notification — the AD is notified and receives revenue-share documentation.
  5. Contract review — P3's legal team checks the sponsor agreement and exclusivity.
  6. Audio approval — brand assets are reviewed for compliance and rights.
  7. Ongoing monitoring — regular compliance checks throughout the activation.

Platform

Glossary — what's what

Plain-English definitions of the terms you'll see across AudioNIL.

Walk-up moment

The at-bat or introduction when an athlete is announced. AudioNIL plays a sponsor's audio at that moment — about 224 per athlete per season in baseball and softball.

NIL

Name, Image & Likeness — the NCAA rules (in effect since June 2021) that let college athletes earn money from their own brand.

Activation

A sponsored audio spot playing live during a game — over the stadium PA and picked up on the broadcast.

Impression & broadcast reach

An impression is one exposure to the audio (attendance × plays). Broadcast reach is the total TV/stream viewers across televised games.

Recall rate

The share of listeners who remember the brand afterward. Audio runs about 65% — higher than video (32%) or print (13%).

Revenue split (60/10/30)

How every deal divides: 60% to the athlete, 10% to the school, 30% to AudioNIL.

Pricing (status & scope)

Business cost scales by player status (Role/Bench, Starter, Star) and number of games — from $850 for a single game up to $125K for a star's full season, and $600K+ for a national school network.

Player status

The athlete's role — Role/Bench, Starter, or Star — which sets the base rate. A star (ace pitcher, top hitter) commands more than a role player for the same number of games.

Category exclusivity

A brand's option to be the only sponsor in its category for a given athlete; the matching algorithm enforces it.

Force majeure

A clause giving sponsors a full refund if an athlete becomes ineligible mid-season.

National athlete sourcing

Sponsoring any eligible athlete nationwide — no geographic restrictions.

CAC & LTV

Customer acquisition cost ($5K–$10K per sponsor) versus lifetime value ($75K–$350K) — a 10:1–30:1 ratio.

Sample contracts

Plain-language summaries of the agreements each party signs. These show what to expect; the actual signed contracts govern.

Athlete Agreement

Parties: Athlete & AudioNIL (a division of P3 Sports Management).

Eligibility & rights: Athlete confirms they're an enrolled, NCAA-eligible student-athlete in good standing and own their NIL rights.

Athlete obligations:

  • Provide an accurate profile (stats, socials, photo/video)
  • Participate in matched audio activations
  • No conflicting NIL agreements
  • Maintain eligibility and sign compliance documents

AudioNIL obligations: reasonable efforts to match sponsors; 60% revenue share to the athlete; payout within 14 days of activation.

Protection: if the athlete becomes ineligible, they're paid for completed games and sponsors are refunded for the remainder (force majeure).

Business / Sponsor Agreement

Parties: Business/Sponsor & AudioNIL.

Scope: named athlete(s), number of games, season, and the audio package (logo sound + brand message + athlete intro).

Fee & terms: total sponsorship fee (from $850 a single game); payment either 50% deposit + 50% on first activation, or paid in full. Optional category exclusivity.

Sponsor obligations: provide or approve audio assets and warrant the rights to them; pay per schedule.

AudioNIL obligations: stadium activation, 50+ social clips, monthly analytics/ROI reporting, and full NCAA compliance.

Refunds: 80% before activation; 100% under force majeure (athlete ineligible).

School Partnership Agreement

Parties: School / Athletic Department & AudioNIL.

Scope: sports included and a multi-year term (e.g., 2 years).

School obligations: grant stadium-audio access, verify athlete eligibility, approve athletes (not unreasonably withheld), and provide reasonable technical support.

AudioNIL obligations: recruit athletes, acquire and manage sponsors, and handle all operations — 10% revenue share to the school with essentially zero work.

Revenue split: 60% athlete / 10% school / 30% platform, with liability and indemnification protecting the school.

Agent / Advisor Referral Arrangement

Parties: Agent/Advisor & AudioNIL (a non-exclusive referral arrangement).

Scope: the agent introduces athlete clients; AudioNIL handles matching, compliance, and payment.

Commission: 10–15% of the client's AudioNIL earnings, disclosed to and consented by the athlete.

Terms: non-exclusive (clients may keep other representation); the agent doesn't negotiate or structure deals; commission is paid alongside the athlete's payout, 14 days after the season.

Athletes

Who qualifies

If you're an eligible college baseball or softball player, you can earn with AudioNIL — no follower count required.

You're a fit if…

  • You're an enrolled, NCAA-eligible student-athlete in good standing.
  • You play baseball or softball at a college program — any division; most D1 athletes qualify.
  • You have a walk-up moment — starter, role player, or bench. Every position can earn.

You do NOT need…

  • A big social following — earnings are based on visibility, not followers.
  • To be a star — bench and role players earn too ($15K–$60K range).
  • To drop other NIL deals — AudioNIL stacks on top of what you already have.

How eligibility is verified

AudioNIL runs an NCAA eligibility check with your athletic department, usually within 1–2 business days. If you're not eligible, no sponsorship proceeds — zero risk to you.

Eligibility varies by NCAA division and state NIL law. The vast majority of Division I baseball and softball athletes qualify.
Athletes

Maximize your earnings

Your walk-up is worth more when you stack sponsors and build visibility. Here's how to get the most from AudioNIL.

1. Stack multiple sponsors

Run several non-conflicting brands across different games — a beverage on one, a local business on another. The matching algorithm prevents category conflicts, so your income compounds across the season.

2. Build your visibility

Higher-visibility positions and consistent play attract larger sponsorships. As your following grows, so does your rate — one Florida outfielder went from 25K to 45K followers, lifting Year 2 potential to $95K.

3. Complete a strong profile

Stats, social links, and photo/video help brands choose you faster. Most athletes are matched within 2–4 weeks of completing a profile.

Earning range by position

PositionAverageRange
Pitcher / Starter$75,000$50K–$150K
Catcher / Leadership$65,000$45K–$120K
Outfielder / Visible$50,000$30K–$95K
Bench / Role player$30,000$15K–$60K

Softball

Softball athletes earn $20K–$65K on the same 224-moment structure, in a fast-growing market — women's-sports engagement is up 37% year over year.

Agents & advisors

How it works for agents

AudioNIL is passive income for your clients and passive commission for you — with none of the negotiating or deal-structuring on your plate.

Five steps

  1. Reach out — email partnerships@audionilsports.com to set up your referral arrangement.
  2. Refer your client — introduce the athlete; disclose your commission.
  3. They sign up — a 5-minute profile and NCAA verification.
  4. AudioNIL runs everything — matching, audio, compliance, and stadium coordination.
  5. Earnings land — athlete payout and your commission, 14 days after the season.

What you do — and don't

You do

  • Make the introduction
  • Disclose your commission to your client
  • Stay informed via the dashboard

You don't

  • Negotiate specific sponsorships
  • Structure or manage deals
  • Handle compliance or payments
Agents & advisors

Commission examples

You take 10–15% of your clients' AudioNIL earnings — on top of your traditional deals, with zero extra work.

ClientsAvg earningsTotal athlete earningsYour 10–15%
3$50,000$150,000$15,000–$22,500
5$75,000$375,000$37,500–$56,250
10$100,000$1,000,000$100,000–$150,000
20$100,000$2,000,000$200,000–$300,000

Because AudioNIL is passive for the athlete and fully managed, this commission is additive — it doesn't compete with the endorsement deals you already negotiate.

Illustrative scenarios based on the 10–15% commission range — actual amounts depend on deals signed, not guaranteed.

This is a starting template. Have it reviewed by legal counsel before you rely on it, and tailor it to your actual data practices and jurisdiction.

AudioNIL ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect

  • Information you provide — when you submit a form (athlete sign-up, sponsor, agent, or school inquiry, or portal notify), we collect details such as your name, email, phone, school or company, sport, position, graduation year, social handles, and any message you include.
  • Athletic profile data — for athletes, we collect eligibility-related information needed to verify NCAA status and build your profile.
  • Technical data — if analytics are enabled, standard information such as device, browser, and pages viewed.

How we use it

  • To evaluate and process sponsorships, match athletes with sponsors, and onboard participants.
  • To verify NCAA eligibility with your athletic department and maintain compliance.
  • To contact you about your inquiry, deals, analytics, and payments.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the platform.

Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

This is a starting template. Have it reviewed by legal counsel and adapt it to your governing law before publishing as binding terms.

By using this website and AudioNIL's services, you agree to these terms.

The service

AudioNIL connects college baseball and softball athletes with brand sponsors for audio "walk-up" activations, and coordinates athlete recruitment, sponsor matching, audio production, compliance, and payment. Specific rights and obligations for each party are governed by the applicable signed agreements (sponsor, athlete, and school contracts), which control if they conflict with this summary.

Eligibility

Athletes must be enrolled, NCAA-eligible student-athletes and must accurately represent their status. AudioNIL verifies eligibility before any activation.

No guarantee of earnings or matches

Earnings figures, tiers, ROI examples, and case studies on this site are illustrative planning benchmarks, not guarantees. Sponsorship matches, deal values, and outcomes depend on many factors and are not promised.

Payments

Where deals are executed, sponsorship value is divided per the applicable agreements — generally 60% athlete, 10% school, and 30% platform — with athlete/school payouts issued within 14 days of activation, subject to the signed contracts.

Compliance

All activity is intended to comply with NCAA NIL rules and applicable state law. Participants agree to cooperate with compliance verification and to follow their institution's policies.

Intellectual property

Site content is owned by AudioNIL or its licensors. Brand audio assets remain the property of the respective brand, which warrants it holds the necessary rights.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AudioNIL is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site.
